My Top 5 Products of 2018

I can’t believe it is almost christmas!!! It was just February yesterday!

Since last year, I decided to whittle down my skincare stash so I haven’t been buying as much as I used to when I would go crazy with skincare. However, I still found a few things to try. I did try quite a number of different products and a few were quite remarkable but these are my top 5.

The Bodyshop Intensely Revitalising Oil in Gel – when I heard about this, I was so happy and hoped it would be the same as the rudely discontinued Nutriganics Cleansing Oil Gel and it did not disappoint. This melted make up really well and leaves your skin moisturised but not in a greasy annoying way. I use this as a first cleanse in the evening after taking off eye and lip make up with micellar water. It warms up on contact but nothing to worry about. A definite repurchase!

Skinbetter Even Tone Correcting Serum – I already reviewed this here

Garden of Wisdom Niacinamide Serum – reviewed the entire brand here but I picked this over the mandelic serum as I can use it day and night.

Krave Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser – LOL…already reviewed this as well here. I am sure this tells you a lot about all these products as I reviewed most of them already. This is by far my best cleanser this year. So gentle.

Hyalogy P – effect basing emulsion – I had never heard of this brand until I got samples with a Biologique Recherche order. It is from a Japanese brand called Forlled and you know the Japanese know skincare. However, it is not exactly cheap but this basing emulsion left my skin so dewy and glowy. Formulated with hyaluronic acid, squalene, pearl protein, zinc, magnesium and it is very moisturising and hydrating. It reminds me so much of the Shiseido suncreen. My make up went on so flawlessly and I made up my mind to get a full size till I checked the price…..LOL!!!!However, since it is not a treatment, I can’t splurge on it but will visit their store to check if I can score samples as it is not the easiest product to purchase. I also tried the cleanser and enjoyed using it

Have you tried any of these products?

I love the skinbetter science even tone. It’s velvety smooth and I’ve noticed a difference in my tone when combined with an acid!
